Found this feather while cutting the grass this morning. Decided to put it in the spotlight so to speak.
I stuck the feather into the joint between two of the floorboards and lit it with an snooted SB600. It was a homemade snoot (I just cut the bottom out of a beer coozy) and not very long so the flash was pretty close to the feather. For that reason the power was cranked all the way down to 1/64th.
I may try this again sometime with a narrower beam of light, but for now I'm satisfied with the outcome.
