Day 31 - Low key skull

Quick post because I'm exhausted.

Simple setup: I put this dog skull on my dining room table and turned all the lights off (except the television so that I could see). Set the camera to 6 sec shutter speed and f11. I used the gorillapod as a tabletop tripod. Lit with a handheld LED and set the focus. Triggered by remote and experimented with different angles of the LED.

Post involved the usual stuff (curves, levels), black and white conversion, overlay layer, unsharp mask, and then several layers of directional grain (both horizontal and vertical).

This one was fun to do and edit, and I like the way it came out.
