I'm late again... this time I had a few friends stop by the house late yesterday evening.
As for the photograph, this is a shot inside the biosafety cabinet as I was doing cell culture this morning. I just used the ambient light (in this case a fluorescent located within the hood) and hand held the shot. The reflective bottom of the hood provides a nice effect to the image.
Minimal editing in photoshop: a little unsharp mask and a couple of layers of multiply set to about 5-10%.
