Not at all an original idea, but something that I really wanted to try. Original credit goes to a poster on the DPS forum.
I thought it would be fun to try the same thing with a sports twist.
It wasn't particularly easy or quick, but I actually had a lot of fun trying this out. The easy part was photographing the apple and baseball separately on a white background. Post processing is definitely a challenge for me. Being my own worst critic, I don't think it's great, but I'm not displeased either. For a first try, it gets my stamp of approval.
I hadn't linked to DPS before, but their How I took it forums are very inspiring. Not everything in there is mind blowing, but it is inspiring and there are some gems. Also the members tend to be very supportive of one another, and that's saying something in the internet viciousness through anonymity age.
