This image is a throwback to this time a year ago when my entire world revolved around studying for my certifying exam for veterinary clinical pathology. These books represent about a fifteenth of the material I studied for the exam. The book on top was only a few months old and I had to cover it because the spine fell apart from use.
I set this shot up the same way I did the gear shot a few days ago.
For a brief recap... the main is an SB600 in a 24" x 24" softbox, two Yongnuo speedlites on the background (a white sheet), and a sheet of white tile board for the tabletop.
By the way my handwriting is not that ornate... my wife labeled the book. That probably wasn't necessary considering the frequency with which I used it, but she can't help but be organized.
