I was watching a bunch of videos from the lightenupandshoot gang (I really enjoy their V-book by the way). Decided I needed to attempt a little bit of lens flare. This was shot with a 50mm f1.8 at f8 - 1/125 - ISO 100. I had an SB-600 set at 1/4 power in a 24" softbox just out of frame to the left. I find this effect very aesthetically pleasing, and I'll probably try this a little more in the future (hopefully with some human subjects).
